good day to you all,
i am so brand new to this that i am waiting to get my fist pipe (dr. grabow) this week sometime. i have also chosen to have my first smoke to be sutliff maple street, not sure why but that is what i chose. i have been reading that one should have a few pipes for other types of tobacco. i am looking at the low end as of now and was wandering about the Missouri Meerschaum Ozark Mountain Hardwood. it is around 12-15 bucks, is that a good starter?

They work okay, I have a couple of them, but I would go for a Missouri Meerschaum corncob pipe in your situation.

as i read more i think that you are right Breshooter.. i should have bought a few corncobs at first. what types of tobacco would you not "mix" in the same pipe? or what types would be ok to smoke from the same pipe?
