Friends, if you will be in, near or able to reach New York City tomorrow--Tuesday, March 11, 2014--then make sure you attend the meeting of New York Pipe Club.
It was announced today by President Lou Carbone that TWO great attractions will await you. 1) Mr. Ramazan Tufan, manager of Turquoise, Ceramics & Meerschaum, will be present, displaying his meer pipes. 2) A reporter and photographer of the New York Daily News will visit for research on an upcoming feature article on pipe smoking in New York City.
So buy yourself a new meer, and get your mug in front of the camera!
Circa Tabac, at 32 Watts Street, between Sixth Avenue and Thompson Street, way down near the Holland Tunnel.
Things get started at around six o'clock.
The club hosted its annual pipe show and sale on Saturday. Facebook users can see my photos here. Hope to see you tomorrow.
