    Just ordered a 1 pound ...Let's see.

King Frog Morton Pipe Tobacco: "King Frog Morton is the result of our long-time effort to reproduce the now discontinued McClelland Frog Morton pipe tobacco. We won't claim it to be an exact match, but we believe we've come up with a satisfying blend that reproduces Frog Morton's silky smooth mouthfeel and rich, Latakia character. Whether or not you've ever smoked the original McClelland Frog Morton, we're sure you'll love this delightful English Mixture."

    In 2oz, 4oz, 8oz and 1 pound

The Country Squire Tobacconist makes a Frog Morton copy called Shepherds Pie. Been so long since I had the real thing, I couldn’t really make a comparison but it is a really good blend.

    Shepard's Pie

And yes, please let us know if the King Smoking iteration is any good. Frog Morton original really got me started on English blends. Loved that stuff.

I'm staring at a couple of tins of the original Frog Morton as I type this. I'll need to get a few more jars and do some comparisons, as I'm with you on getting into English blends because of it.

I've read a number of comments suggesting that Boswell's Northwoods is a similar blend. I haven't smoked then back-to-back, but they do smell quite a bit alike.

I tried Boswell's Northwoods and Country Squire Shepherds Pie...My taste like Northwoods better. Once I get
King Frog Morton...I will try all 3 and post the results.

I like Northwoods a lot. There is something about Frog Morton that I haven't found elsewhere.

Very curious to give this one a shot....

But which Frog Morton are they trying to replicate? There were several that were fairly good.

I am glad we have a good admin and responsible moderators.

I got the impression from the OP that it was the original Frog Morton.

Well apparently no news on this blend? Anyone else hear something about this blend?
