Just bought a lovely but inexpensive (€50) pipe from Savinelli while in holiday on Lake Garda in Italy. Part of their 'Primo Fumo' range (wood not perfect) so ideal for a novice like me! 9mm bulsar filter and it it is a lovely mellow smoke. The bent apple shape sits perfectly in my hand.
If i could figure out how to upload a pic I would - any help please?

Congratulations on your acquisition :)
I think there's a minimum number of posts required for you to post an image. Once you have them, there's an "IMG" button on the editor, that lets you link to an image - so you have to upload it somewhere else, like imgur. Otherwise, I suppose you can just upload it somewhere and post a link to it.

Wow! Thanks for all the great responses - makes me feel very welcome!
Just been organising a hectic birthday party for my 6 year old - stressed and tired and dreaming of the moment I can sit back and relax with a good beer and my Savinelli - not long to go now!!
