Hey all,
My first ever Savinelli and a few tins of tobacco arrived late last week but due to a busy weekend I haven't been able to post the pictures promised nor smoke either the pipe nor any of the tobacco. Anyway, without further delay I present to you the Savinelli Qandale Rusticated Churchwarden from SmokingPipes (taking a page out of the book of fishnbanjo and displaying it on my favorite smoking cap) along with a tin of G.L. Pease's Sextant, McClelland's Frog Morton, MacBaren's 7 Seas Regular, MacBaren's Mixture Scottish Blend, and CAO's Eileen's Dream.
Apologies for poor quality photos, only have my phone.

Very cool. Tell me about CAO's Eileen's Dream. I love my CAO Moontrance. Its very fruity. If you get a chance, post your impressions of it. I'd like to try it.

The oval-shaped bowl is sometimes referred to as an "opera" shape, meaning that it can more comfortably fit into a gentleman's vest pocket allowing him a smoke during an intermission at the opera.
And it's interestingly juxtaposed with a churchwarden stem!

I don't think I'll be attending any operas in the near future, but I certainly will be trying the pipe soon. I'm torn between FM and Sextant for my first bowl. Decisions, decisions.

I can't get that Scottish blend to not bite! However, I love my sav churchwarden and Eileen's Dream is one of my favorite aros! Good score! Anyone have advice on the Scottish?

Nice pipe! You will enjoy the 7 Seas Regular. Nice sweet smoke with a little choclate/vanilla.
