Nice, clean lines on that Lovat. Just a shade tall with a bit of forward cant makes it distinctive -- just barely Danish, maybe. Happy smoking, that's a beautiful piece of briar.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I look forward to getting the pipe. Dave said he will mail it tomorrow. I liked the look of the lovat. I do not think I have any other pipes of the same shape so it will be nice to have one.

Thanks Harris. I enjoyed speaking with Dave. He is actually in FL now. He has a home in a city near Tampa. Perhaps he spends winter time in FL to get away from the cold in WI.
I received an email a bit ago saying the pipe will be mailed tomorrow (Tuesday).
