I've been smoking my show pipe (huge Devorin morta billiard) for several weeks now and I am still amazed at the way it smokes.
I don't think I've needed a relight at all in at least 10 pipefuls. I'm wondering whether this is a function of its size, the morta, or the engineering. In my collection I have some really nice pipes and this outperforms them all, so I find it hard to see as the engineering. Anyone else have similar experiences? What do you feel is the difference?

Tobacco's a musician. And in a pipe delighteth; It descends in a close,Through the organ of the nose, With a relish that inviteth.

    Glad you like it.
Loved the look of them, but didn't pull the trigger. I knew I should have bought one. Oh well, missed opportunity...

. Damn good Smoker, but the damn brass insert needs to be polished, reminds me when I was in the Navy.
