Well here is a new Ferndown headed my way. I am not big on saddle stems so after I receive it I am sending it back of to my good Friend Les Wood who has agreed to put a new tapered cumberland stem on it for me. This excites me as I am really needing it for my Ferndown collection.

HUH... I'm doing just the opposite with an old Savinelli 320. The short tapered stem isn't clench-able for me. I like my pipes to be so. Nice collection of pipes you have there.

Love my Ferndown, though it's not a 'dog. I like your saddle stem a lot, gives the pipe a sort of sleek edgy look, but you know what you want. It's a beauty.

I love your collection. I have a couple Ferndowns, and have found that they smoke really great!

Beautiful pipe. Can't imagine replacing that awesome saddle stem. But then again I love saddle stems. Hope you enjoy it by the way.

My tudor root is my heart throb. It has the basketweave band with the tapered cumberland stem. This pipe will match it as well as match my antique bark bent billiard with the cumberland stem and engine turned band.
