I won this Mark Tinsky Ukulele Blasted Pipe last weekend from Rob (coopersark) on ebay and just got her in my hands today, complete with original sock. It is my third Tinsky and without a doubt, will not be my last. This pipe is beautiful and i cannot wait to fire her up. It feels fantastic in the hand and is pretty much molded to fit in your hand. The blast on it looks very good as well. The stem is gold and is made of handcut acryllic and the pre draw feels nice and open, the way i like it. The drilling also looks spot on and goes down to the dead center of the bowl. Pipe cleaner passes easily through the pipe.
I looked this one up on Mark's website to find out when it was made and found it, finally, after looking through hundreds of his pipes. For those of you who don't know, he has a section on his American Smoking Pipes website called "Today's Work" that goes all the way back to 2000. Anyways, I found it was made in February (12th to be exact) 2006, but as of right now remains unsmoked. That will changed very soon.
I will update the thread on the smoking qualities of the pipe after i smoke a few bowls in it. Stoked to break her in!!! Thanks for the opportunity, Rob!!!
