Castello Sea Rock I Nodi - Number 62 of 100.
Well, my timing was off a bit. It missed being delivered on IPSD 2018 by one day! I Nodi means "The Knot" and refers to the Knot of Savoy which signifies the beginning of life, as it was the knot used to detach the umbilical cord between mother and infant. It is Castello's 2017 Christmas pipe. This one is destined to become a favorite!

    Wow! Do you have measurements?

One to cherish. Will it be dedicated to any tobacco in particular?

    Very nice pipe. Enjoy it.

    Wow! Do you have measurements?

    1. Pipe Length 5.75 inches (146mm)
    2. Bowl Height 2.2 inches (56mm)
    3. Outside diameter 1.61 inches (41mm)
    4. Chamber diameter 0.82 inches (21mm)
    5. Chamber Depth 1.81 inches (46mm)
Weight 63g (Sounds heavy, but is very well balanced and clenches easily!)

One to cherish. Will it be dedicated to any tobacco in particular?

I will break this one in with Luxury Twist Flake. Afterwards it will be a Virginia / VaPer pipe. I doubt I'll dedicate it to a single blend as the one I would have chosen (Ye Olde Signe) will, sadly, no longer be available. I may make it a Flake only pipe, but the pipe will decide that!

I like the lighter rim / darker rusticated bowl combination. Looks like a very nicely balanced pipe. Enjoy!

Great band. Is that knot a bowline?

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

    Is that knot a bowline?

Looks more like a clove hitch.....Or a figure eight.
