I feel a little embarrassed to ask this but, its an honest question.
New pipe smoker here and I decided to buy a soft flame lighter. I bought a Jetline Golem. Got it in the mail today but it won't light. I see a spark, but no flame ignites. Do lighters come pre-filled or do I have to fill it the first time?

When buying butane, make sure it is the good stuff that has been filtered a number of times. The cheap Ronson you get at the drug store is garbage and will gunk up your lighter. I only buy Vector fuel as it says on the can filtered up to 14 times.

Great tip Harris. I was not aware that there was a huge difference in quality from brand to brand. :puffy:

jkrug, you are more than welcome. I also at one time never knew there was any difference in butane as I just figured gas is gas, but I learned the hard way when I bought a can of that cheap ass Ronson and it clogged my lighter.
