Bought me a used pipe and I like her a lot. There are some markings on her but I can't make her name.

On one side there are what seems to be the numbers 331 and up and to the left there is a "London made" in a circle (well more a football shape then a circle).

On the other side there are 2 rows of letters but I can't make anything from it.

Can any of you Gent's help me identifying her?

Thanks

Boy, this is a tough one. the 331 is the shape # usually denoting a bulldog, which is what you have. The name is the toughest part to decipher. The top name appears to begin with an "A" but I could not find any British maker close to it. The bottom name looks like it could be "WRIGHT" but I had no luck with that either.

The London Made appears to be raised which could be a significant clue. I hope someone here is able to make an ID on it. Good luck.

I think it's an old Comoy's 2nd.
331 jives with the Shape list,

http://pipedia.org/wiki/Comoy%27s_Shape_Number_Chart
It also has the classic Comoy's contrast stain look.
The rugby-ball shaped London made stamp points to it being pre WW2,

so it's one of the true golden oldies!
The shaping is gorgeous too.
A great find I'd say!

Congrats!

I can't make out what your says, it might be possible to decipher with a zoom lens and adjusting light and shadow?
Comoy's used a great variety of names/brands, as well as making "house pipes" for tobacconists,

stuff like this:

I think Troy is on the right track. When I researched the shape # Comoy came up first. So, I'd say you have something from their stable and a pipe with some age on it. Enjoy many bowls with it.
