Hey folks. I’ve got some tobaccos that aren’t made anymore and some with some age on them that I’m curious to see what they are worth in today’s market. They are all sealed as new and have been kept with my other tobaccos in my cellar. Here’s the list. Any info would be great because I’m probably go8ng to get rid of the ones I’m listing and I’d like to know what fair value is. Thanks.

McClelland Christmas Cheer 2006 and 2008. I tin each

McClelland Virginia Woods 2008

McClelland Orient 996 2008, 4 tins.

G L Pease Westminster 2007

G L Pease Maltese Falcon 2008

G L Pease Sextant no date stamp but at least 5 years old.

Low Country Cooper 2007 2 tins

Frog Morton on the Bayou 2002

Frog Morton Across the Pond 2004

Cornell & Diehl Purple Cow 2006

Balkan Sasieni 2004

Mac Baren ahh Vintage Syrian 2007

Yeah, it's a bit like the stock market, except individual bids may vary wildly rather than attach to an organized market. Unless you want to spend some time on this, the pipestud consignment is a good idea.

I would estimate you could get $75 to $125 for the Christmas Cheer. Perhaps $50 to $65 for the other two McClelland blends assuming they are 4 oz tins. Probably a bit more for the Frog Morton. $20 to $25 for the GLP Westminster and Maltese Falcon. $40 to $50 for the Vintage Syrian. Not sure about the others. There are a lot of variables. Where you list it, how patient you are, etc.. I'd give you $20 each for the Maltese Falcon and Westminster. You may get more, I'm just saying that's what they're worth to me. Good luck to you if you decide to sell.

The Frog Morton Across The Pond goes for more than average because it contains Syrian Latakia. I've seen 50 gram tins go for $50-$75, and 100 gram tins go for between $90 and $140. I'd otherwise go with hoosierpipeguy's estimates + or - a few bucks.
