I was looking at trying a couple of blends by them. Any of you guys care for their tobacco if so what do you recommend?

Their 205 VaPer and 536 (English blend with black cav) seem to be well received.

All together the NS reviews at tobaccoreviews.com are positive but not raving.

It looks like their stuff generally leans toward aromatic and is of the quality one would expect from an established fine tobacconist.

I won't see any communication directed to me here. I'm no longer active at this forum.

There are three that I have that I think are amazing. However, one of them you cannot get on the site. It is only sold in the store, and you can call the store and order it from them.

I highly, highly recommend these. They are so good, I bought a pound of each after sampling them when I was there. There are two English blends and a Virginia that I love.

    1. # 536 Empire English
    2. # 649 Old Oxford (Only available from the store in NY)
    3. # 580 Liberty Golden Virginia

You don't have to buy a pound. They will ship 2 oz.

When you call, they may try to direct you to the mail order division, but tell them you want the Old Oxford that is only in the store and want to place your order with the store.

I actually watched the video when it came out and have been wanting to try out a blend but just kind of was in the mood as of recently to break my usual routine in tobaccos. I think I'm going to order one of each. One more question do they not sell tins anymore? I went to the website and saw pictures of tins, but they only sold in bags. Not a big deal just thought it would make a cool novelty piece to my collection of old tins. I like to call my self a collector of tins I have smoked, but my wife said if I keep on this path I will be on A&E soon.

They don't make the tins any more. You can see them in the store, but they do not sell them. You can ask, as they might have some, but don't get your heart set on it.

I bought a box of Nat Sherman's MCD.
Man are they good. I broke two of the cigs up and smoked them in my pipe just for the hell of it.

If you're going to smoke cigarettes, you should at least smoke the good stuff.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Oh, never mind - you already did!

surfmac211 - did you get your Nat Sherman pipe tobacco? Did you try it yet?

I'm not a cigarette smoker anymore, but when I did indulge a few years back, I would have to say that Nat Sherman had the best around... I like the Black & Gold... They have a charcoal filter, talk about smooth...

    OK, back to pipes...

Sorry for the late reply. I got all three of the tobaccos and tried them and loved them! I personally loved the Liberty Golden Virginia. I went ahead and bought a pound of it because I took it out on the boat and smoked the whole 4 ounces I bought in about a week lol. I did share some of it though lol. I also liked both English blends. I think Empire English is possible my new favorite as of now for English blends(bought a few more ounces of it). I was glad you told me about the Old Oxford blend definitely worth the phone order and the people were very nice and helpful. I even dropped the your name Kevin and told them that you recommended it on the site and they were very happy to hear that and said for you to keep up the good work.
