Well,so far my experience with Castello pipes was very positive and especially I was amazed by how effortlessly and smoothly these do smoke, factors which led me to buy this small to a medium-sized lightweight extravagantly looking Castello Castello from an Italian vendor(Novelli) agreed there is some light rim darkening present but I couldn't be too picky considering quite a moderate' price as of 170$,?Could a be a bit cheaper of course, but looking at completed eBay auctions these didn't seem to end up for much less,

I don't like the looks of all Castellos, but I do like their straight billiards. Especially the slim, lightweight ones. Yours is beautiful. Something along those lines is next on my wishlist.

Smoking is one of the leading causes of all statistics.

    Terrific! Enjoy!

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

That’s a workhorse. It will smoke great long after you are dead. Ride it hard at put it away wet.

Thanks boys, excuse me for picking up these mundane' looking pieces now and then, must take watchful care of the rim yet be careful with the stem, multipurpose and light weight pipe of 28gr, I must assume I could have had this a bit cheaper though, but when thats another question again,I'm noticing when these are available at the vendor's they tend to sell quite quickly.

You can't smoke money. Well, you can, but it won't taste too good. Bitter, I imagine.

This somewhat edgy and classical look is charming. Congrats on it! And 170$ is not too much for a used pipe if it is Australian $

Whenever I think Castello my immediate thought first last & always is Sea Rock, so it's nice to see a different look from them! Enjoy!!

@Bill N, Yes Sir,can't argue, I have a soft spot for their rusticated pipes pipes but this time around opted for this one,

If I were shopping for a Castello, that's the style I'd like. Their big beefy pipes are attractive but a little heavy for me. This has a nice sturdy but spare profile.

@Mso489, Yes Sir, definitely,I'm preferring lighter weight pipes with rather medium sized chambers.

Paul I think you made a good deal. Any Castello under 2 bills is getting to be a good buy.

Sure got that right; I put in a bid recently on the Bay for an estate Sea Rock. When it got to $175 I unwatched...!
