Last week I was at the NY pipe club and there were some old pipes given out to members for new homes.
This one is not my usual style-it was quite beat up and the stem was in poor condition. The bowl was ok and little work was needed.
Some polish using tripoli, white diamond and finally carnauba wax brought out the stem to be in excellent condition.
It also smokes quite well. I see now that the stem shows some wear at the tip-that is from me smoking it!
Not bad for a 'free-bee'. I wish I knew the manufacture.
