D Ira my sons first Damascus Blade. The old cajun
Beauty. How many folds/layers?
That is a beautiful knife. The pattern in the blade almost looks similar to the grain of a pipe.
Does he use it or save as part of a collection?
Capt that was a billet he bought from Alabama , 5 different steel layers forged and pressed 5 times, he just got the equipment to make his own from cable, that was just a little work knife that he heat treated, tempered, acid eched and polished, The old cajun
That's a great pattern and a nice grind. He did well.
That knife puts my wallmart brand knife to shame! I don't know enough about knifes to know if that knife is good but it looks like quality.
That's a beauty, old cajun.
Damascus steel is a favourite of mine.
Absolutely gorgeous.
My son's a chef and the knife he salivates over is hand made, sells in the 4 figures, and there's a long waiting list. There's money in knives, if you know what you're doing.
That is a very good looking knife. I would love to someday own more knives. Damascus steel is one of my favorite metals for a knife.
That's a sweet blade, a nice Damascus steel blade is truly a thing of beauty!
beautiful
It's a beauty!
Thats a beauty, cajun.
Very nice. Good luck to him. The PKA has their show here in Denver every August. Just another black hole for my money!
Bradley, I am no expert on knives, but that is plenty gorgeous.

Beautiful

Stunning knife, one day I'll have something like that; till then I've got my trusty Gerber.

WHO made it,and Damn that is a beautiful thing The old cajun
some guy here in Ajax, Ontario, Canada.
There hand made but he does not sharpen them and he is a terrible ebay seller to be honest but the knives look great and once sharpened are pretty awesome given you keep it lubricated.
