Very nice, almost looks like a pickaxe. Let us know how she smokes but I'd bet it's great.

I've had the pleasure of talking with JH in years past as we live fairly close and he used to bring his creations to a B&M I frequent. I just wish I'd've bought some of his pipes back then but they never lasted very long around the pipe club guys. A very nice specimen you picked up.

Fish, that is a great looking pipe and I love the blast and stain. That is a shape I don't have yet, but know I would like.

What a fantastic grab! Where did you find that beauty?
My next artisan pipe is going to be another Jack Howell. I have one and every time I smoke it, I realize it just outshines all of my Upshall/Ashton/Comoys and even my lone Rad Davis (which are all great). Jack's stem work just nails it.

A fellow pipester on the Smoking Forum offered it for sale and already owning a wonderful smoking Dublin by Jack I jumped on this, should have it next week.
Here is the Dublin I already own, I find it perfect in form, weight, symmetry and of course a fantastic smoker as I already stated.
