That is one handsome hunk of briar!
Ingo Garbe, by the way, is a German pipe maker. I know he doesn't make a bunch of pipes but the ones he creates are reportedly awesome. At the West Coast Pipe Show in Vegas back in November there were a couple of pipes at somebody's table (I forget who), and he told me Garbe is now living in Denmark. So, he has no ties to South Africa as far as I can determine.
Again, great looking wood!

Beautiful pipe! I'm hoping to find one or two monster size pipes for sitting by the camp fire this summer.

Bradley, I need more pics. From what I can tell, there is some serious birdseye on that pipe and I really do need to see it. It looks like a beauty. How does it smoke in comparison to some of your other artisan pipes? Dry as a bone? Cool and flavorful? Details, I need details. lol

Out of all the members here, I look forward to Brad's estate sale the most :) Not only do all his pipes function as smoking works of art, they can double as viable home defense weapons.

That's a beauty, Bradly. Looks like I'd only need to smoke one bowl a day in a pipe that big. Enjoy!
