Every pipe smoker has many unique tampers.

One and only tampers because I made my own. From tree branch to Jenga game block.

Here is some Pics. Most I use is left first one which has two size tamper on each side.

They're great, Forest.
I'm dangerous around tools and sharp objects and handmade treats like yours delight me.
The decade rosary barked tamper is just swell, but my Episcopal rosary is short enough already.
Keep pushing yourself, pard. You've got skills.

Very cool. The second one on the left side is my favorite, but they all look great.

Gorgeous. I think it's difficult to top the simplicity and utility of the 99 cent pipe nail,

but these do.

Big Thanks to Everyone.

All 6 tampers are made under $1 or free + time.

From left

1st and 2nd one are tree branch and P&C pipe tool (got free with some tobacco tin order)

3rd one also tree branch and old NYC subway token.

4th and 5th one carved with Jenga game block.

6th one made e-cigarette pipe and leather wrap.

Last picture "P" is not from "peterson" acctually it's from "Pierre Cardin" metal button.

Tamper is a real pipe friend to help good smoking.

Forest, those are very cool - love number 2 from the left.
"Tamper is a real pipe friend to help good smoking." - spot on - it can really enhance the experience - its more than a tool - it really is a friend.

Ain't that the truth.
And Jason would know.
He gifted me a tamper that became a quick friend, possessing a true warmth and soul not found in machine made products, it's really amazing to feel such a living vibration of energy buzzing within what is essentially an utilitarian object, and it actually enhances the smoking experience, for real.
Here's the tamper that Jason crafted if you never saw it,

...I was seriously overwhelmed and excited and had to make a thread about it,

the photo shoot was fun.

The tamper with the rosary reminds me of an old Jesuit joke.
A Jesuit novice notices another novie smoking a pipe during his evening prayer. He approaches and asks, "Did you get permission from the Novice Master to smoke while you pray?
He answered, "No, but I did get permission to pray while I smoke!"
I love the combination of the two quintessential contemplative activities as represented in your design.

Misterlowercase.

That's the Art. So so nice and I'm sure it should be a good friend.
