I'd been watching this pipe for awhile and decided to pull the trigger. I liked it's classic and conservative design.

Very nice. 1977 -- that's a fairly early one. Had they been making pipes long at that point?

Durham:
That pipe is stunning and it appeals to every old fashioned bone I have in my body.
Would you please send me the link to where you're selling all of your spill over burners?
Man, you've hit the mother lode on estate buys and your refurbishing skills keep getting better and better. I'd be honored to own your "seconds."

Great looking pipe. Congrats
Pitchfork I believe the partnership started up in around 1972.

Beautiful pipe Durham! I have a Mastro rusticated panel billiard that is a great smoker! I love yours!
Thanks Bob. If you get a chance please post images of your Mastro de Paja pipe here. I'd really enjoy seeing it.
Same with you to tarak! Anyone else who has them please do post images.
I've not read the history for Mastro de Paja so I do not know when they started making pipes.

Mastros and Ser Jacs are my favorites (Ser Jacs for the bents, pipe cleaners pass without a snag). After that, Radice, Castello and Caminetto. Used to be British pipes but the Italians have taken over LOL!

There is a connection between the two. The late Giancarlo Guidi was the original carver for Mastro. He left to form Ser Jacopo.
