I added a big pinch of HH Old Dark Fired ready rubbed to a bowl of MacBaren Modern Virginia Loose Cut and I am loving it!

Fruity Virginias with the added bold oomph of the ODF. A nice change from either of the components by themselves.

I put about a half teaspoon of vanilla black cavendish in a tin of Royal Yacht. It makes it smokable for me.

Try ODF with a sprinkle of Haunted Bookshop, I love that stuff.

ODF and haunted bookshop I will have to try that, I just think haunted bookshop is a bland straight burley mix and not anything exciting except the nic hit on that.

I would certainly agree with you there shanelktown, I mainly use it to add to things to give them more "body". I do enjoy it occasionally alone in a smaller pipe.

Modern Virginia is a mighty nice smoke by itself. It's the first Mac Baren's I'd buy again.
