its a belvedere from the late 70's. i did a salt and alcohol treatment last night and cleaned the stem but it still needs polished

I will post some pics as soon as i get it done. This is my first charatan ive always heard how nice they smoked and man does it smoke great. The best part is i only paid 40 for it

Sweet deal for that one, I paid $75.00 for a Charatan Special Pot about 5 years ago. It had been cleaned but not restored. I smoke it often. You are gonna like that pipe, my friend.

After a little research it seems that its a little older than i thought, its either from the 50's or 60's. Dating these is very difficult

Very nice, that will polish up nicely. It is hard to date them. Typically you see the double-comfort bit, but they used taper bits even into the Lane era. Heck of a buy for $40.
