Hey do ya'll suppose that Bulldog pipes got that name because they are stout like the dog breed?

Watch out! Bulldogs are known for their extreme flatulence.

Great dog. I have a Staffordshire Bull and she is the best dog ever.

Now you need to invest in a spiked dog collar.

I thought to, but they said his neck is so thick every collar you put on him , he'll slip off...and eat

Ha... what a cute Bulldog. A face only a mother could love Have always liked these dogs but never owned one.

I hear they are expensive to own though, because of vet bills... is that correct?

I could be wrong, but I believe the shape is named bulldog because if you look at the silhouette of the bowl, and the bulldog's head from the front (Chris' first picture is excellent for this comparison) they are very similar in shape.

It is to a point..they're suceptible to health problems, mostly genetic, some of which require surgeries. He had some problems, not sure what all but the surgeries are all completed and they said all we hane to contend with are standard issuses...benedryl everyday reg trips to the vet and such. I think there gonna have some issues but how many and how expensive depend alot on genes.

My daughter owns a Beabull (half Beagle, half Bulldog). The mix is supposed to cross-out genetic problems. Unfortunately, the dog has boundless energy like the Beagle and endless gas like the Bulldog.
The only redeeming characteristic: it has the personality of the Bulldog...sweet dog.

I have 2 English bullies great dogs. Tad stubborn. Vet bills can add up just like human doctor bills. Funny that both have the same solution.
