Who would of thought such a small cabinet can hold so much joy and anticipation as a child's first time to Disney!!
Now a shot of the inside.

For many of you this isn't alot but for me your looking at at least 10 years of smoking supply being i smoke my pipe maybe three times a week max. However this doesn't mean ill stop buying since i only see my consumption rate increasing as i get older. The tins are all sealed as they will be for many years to come i find aging in tins is the easiest way to do it especially when you have curious nosy friends who like to pop the lids on all the jars and sniff like a blood hounds. For me the tins ensure this does not happen.

Here are my sealed tins.

This big boy holds all the tobacco that i had less then a bowl left in the bag or tin. it holds every kind of leaf and cut. Aros to va/pers, coins to flakes. But no Latakia if you haven't noticed yet i am not a fan of the stuff.
Thats it i hope you enjoyed reading about my cellering experience.

A very nice start and a good selection. I am new to cellaring as well but if I might point out one thing I noticed. Some jars and tins do not seem to have dates, I can only imagine that if you keep this up for years, that will come in handy.

Thanks Daimyo good point. The tins actually have the dates taped on the bottom i forgot to mention that the Jars well some do and some don't but like I mentioned above they always get opened anyway. So if i like whats in the jars i usually buy the tin or a separate amount to cellar.

It may seem small to you but it's still bigger than mine! I'm working on that though and add at least 1 tin a week. I like that you have so much diversity and I can visualize the cabinet being opened and stared into for a time on a cold winter day trying to decide what to smoke. I agree with your attitude toward storing tins too although I have a couple factory sealed pound bags squirreled away.

Thanks settersbrace, don't worry at one tin a week friend you will catch up to me quicker then you think, i usually make one order a month of maybe 3-5 tins and some bulk. over that time i give some away, smoke some, trade some. It really helped to join the Bass Pass that way i knew what i wanted to try and buy. As for the diversity in the blends well ive been at this since 2012 and im still trying new blends and discovering new tastes and probably will be for the rest of my life haha. But i love every minute of it.

Andrew:

If those Wessex blends are the ones I put in the box for you, then they have at least 3 years on them. I bought those from a tobacconist in Vegas, and brought back home. I didn't realize you smoked so few bowls through the week. I'll be sure to add some interesting stuff for you on the next box pass!
