Hey all, i got 2 free samples from Sterling tobacco today, Thank you sterling!. One was Whitetail aromatic, not very strong but burns well an stays lit nicely. the other was called Bargain Pipe Tobacco which goes for $15.00 per pound, definitely cheap for sure. Anyway its lacking somethin seriously and i didnt know what to do with it so i mixed 50/50 with L.J.Burley from H&H. I am actually now quite enjoyin the bowl i am smoking. Just goes to show how much fun u can have playing around with diff blends, for sure

I have this homemade mixture of 50/50 Mississippi Mud and Lane 1Q. I call it Sweet and Spicy, and it is a sickeningly good smoke. I also like to mix Latakia heavy blends with a vanilla aromatic. When smoked, it makes the room smell exactly like a Smores. I have also blended some MacBaren Symphony with Latakia heavy blends and had interesting results. Good smoke, cant quite describe the flavor.

sometimes i mix some frog morton with Larrys Blend, its quite good

Funny you should say that. I have some Larrys Blend coming in the mail, and I have a tiny bit of Frog Morton left. I may have to give that a whirl.

hey i also got more larry's comin in mail. placed order on thursday an i cant wait i just luv it that much, i think larry's is my fav.!!!

I spend my evenings thinking of which of my tobaccos I'm in a mood to mix. Most of the time, I really like the combinations.
I'm biochemist/pharmacologist by trade, and this is even more fun than playing in the lab. 
(But only until the end of this month, and then I'm retiring after 34 years in the lab. I'm so excited that I just hope I don't have a heart attack before I get there!!)

I have my version of a "bench blend" going. I use snack size zip lock bags in my leather pouch (Salvation army find... $2.99! It's some sort of purse or some such that I made some changes to. When I have a way of posting pictures I will!) When I have less than a smoke in one of these bags, I dump it in my bench blend jar. It's now a combo of Half&Half, CB Royal, Middleton's Apple and Royal Comfort, L1Q and Palladin. It's a pretty good smoke and I can't wait to see "where it goes!" There is going to be some Cup O Joes Bigfoot going in soon too! Anyone else do this??
I also have a jar of 50% H&H/50% Paladin I've been smoking as well...

I really enjoy 50% Wilke's Best with 50% BCA - this something MJTannen turned me on too. Excellent smoke.
