Here is my latest...

A 1920's decade antique French briar given to me by my local B&M (for doing some typical band repairs for their customers). It needed a band, so I made this sterling silver one. It is carved and fabricated.

This was a no name pot that I made a bit spiffier by adding the silver work and my favorite stone, a ruby, for fire and passion (a passion for pipes).

I call her Ol' Ruby.

I like both bands but the dripping metal one of the first pipe is way cool! Just tell them that one smokes a little hot.

No sir, for a one-of, I found it easier to just carve the silver directly.
