I just thought I'd share pictures of my collection so far. With the exception of the Barling Royal Londoner, and the Ladies RB 1902, they are all estate pipes. The Barling I'll get round to breaking in soon, but the RB is going to stay unsmoked.

Wow, love the Barling - T.V.F. 5109 and the Bewlay - 220 (even though it has some oxidation on the stem). Impressive.

I too like the Barling - T.V.F. 5109 but like the Dr.Plumb - Baby Bent Smooth even more. Thanks for posting v8tor.

I'm not sure if it's the shape or what, but I am not a great fan of the Vesta pocket pipe. It smokes reasonably well though. One downside of the vest pocket is it has a small oval bowl which makes reaming it quite a task, as it can't be done with a 'Senior'. It has to be done the old fashioned way.

I followed all the instructions for reaming, 'sweetning' and cleaning that have been posted or linked to on this site and I am quite satisfied with the results.

As a consequence of buying 'estates' my pipe cleaning and refurbishing kit is quite good now.

I wouldn't guess how many times I was tempted to buy one of those little pipes. For awhile, I wanted one in the most awful way, but kept talking myself out of it.
For their intended purpose, they looked handy as hell.
I always wondered how they would smoke.

That is a lovely collection! I have one of the vest pocket pipes as well and almost never smoke it. I keep it because it was one of my first pipes.

Well now it is just perfect :). I ran into a similar pipe in a BM the other week although it was a Big Ben and colored white. I naturally assumed it was a meerschaum, but no, it was a briar pipe.
