I bought this repaired Castello in 2008 for $25.00:

The repair stem is cheap Vulcanite and fit loosely.

Recently, I sent it to Mike Myers at Walker Briar Repair for a new Lucite stem and a good cleaning. The new stem is wider and fits the pipe much, much better..

It will be smoked, of course, and displayed next to my Cheap Dunhill. Thanks for the great repair, Mike!

Smoking some Princes Street in it now. I had it opened up by Mike as well, and it is superb. The rim is super clean too, My Dunhill wil be going to him next.

Just got a ODA Dunhill replacement stem, and tendon repair for a Ser Jac Hawkbill, Dunhills original stem had a button repair and was very thin, I am a clencher and needed a big button, new stem is beautiful and very comfortable, tendon repair masterful, Thumbs up to Mike.
