If you go to some chain steakhouses like Longhorn, you'll get served honey whole wheat bread. Well, you don't have to go to a steakhouse to get good bread...just bake it yourself! Here's a couple of loaves of honey whole wheat right from the oven that will go great with Thanksgiving dinner.

The white part of the rbead in the middle looks like a tree.

But if you turn it upside down you have LIGHTING BREAD! Very nice.

I too bake my own bread. Grew up that way and have never developed a taste or as I like to put it tolerance for store bought sliced bread. Some of the multigrain well made mass produced breads are ok, but nothing beats home made bread. I bake a loaf or 2 every week.

There's nothing like it! I like baking everything from French and Italian bread to multi-grains, too.

Dang ,please make some dark rye ,so I can have a slice . Whole wheat raises my blood sugar too much .

    Tasty!

Yesterday I baked a cake for our wedding anniversary. I would take a picture but it is all gone.
