Just wondering if any of yous ever heard of molasses tobacco ? I thought it would be nice if I could find some pipe tobacco that tasted simular to the drew estate "dirt" cigar.

Wendell, I know that cigar. I kinda sorta think I might maybe possibly know the flavor profile you seek. Take a look at Hearth and Home Vermont Meat Candy. It’s an older blend by Russ Ouellette. I actually enjoy it. Kinda maple syrup meets Kentucky dark fired. It has a similar vibe to the Drew Cigar. Of course it’s an aromatic, so YMMV.

Both Orlik's Dark Strong Kentucky & Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake have molasses & licorice.

Sutliff's Match Edgeworth Ready Rubbed has molasses & cocoa.

Cornell & Diehl Redburn has molasses & rum.
I don't know how these would match the flavors from the Drew Estates cigar as I don't smoke cigars.

According to the PC paper catalog, the subtle flavoring in Granger is molasses. It is the ultra tobacco forward blend, but it is technically aro.
