I used copenhagen for years..back when there was only one flavor of cope, and about 3 of skoal.

Quit snuff and cigs the same day

I quit years ago in deference to my wife, but, oh, how I loved me some Copenhagen.
Skoal Original Fine Cut was my second favorite.

Skoal wintergreen for me. I've quit for the most part. Still enjoy a pinch every now and then.

I'm confused... When you say snuff do you mean for the nose or chew? Isn't Cope and Skoal chew or dip? I've dipped and chewed red man but the snuff thing confuses me. I know there are specific snuffs for the nose.

Used to love it, put it down a few months ago. I went though so many tins in the last year and it was starting to break the bank. I went from a tin a week to a tin a day very fast. Sometimes I'd spoil myself and put in a nice horseshoe. Cope Wintergreen for me.

Tucker, They are talking about American-style moist snuff (some call it dip), which is really more like Swedish Snus as opposed to European Snuff which goes in your snout. Copenhagen, Skoal, Kodiak and Grizzly are typical brands and you pinch out a wad from the tin and stick it in your bottom lip or between the cheek and gums. I used to dip when I was in the army because we couldn't smoke out in the field. I liked Skoal the best but dipped Copenhagen sometimes. I don't do it anymore because my wife will throw me out if she sees me with that shit all in my teeth. Nasal snuff is OK because she doesn't have to french kiss my nose.

I've dipped before both loose, pouch, and snus. Snus is great for flying. I also used to dip and smoke cigs at the same time! I think the confusion came from lexical differences. I call canned chewing tobacco dip or chew, red man or Levi Garrett is chew. Snuff well that's some tobacco for your nose or some deranged porn haha Also I remember a lot of guys dipping on my high school hockey team, we called it chawski :) Tomato~Tomahto

I have no idea why we call Snus "Snuff" over here when it isn't. It's worse now that people here in the states are actually using Snus and Snuff. Down here in Texas there's a lot of dippers and they call it dip, too.
I actually like chewing tobacco, especially Levi Garrett, but it's a bit too much nicotine for me these days. Plus I'd only be able to have a chaw when the wife is nowhere near. If she saw me spit tobacco juice, she would barf!
I always take a snort of Snuff before getting on a plane. Makes flying more tolerable.

Used to dip Skoal Wintergreen long ago. It's good stuff. Don't dip or chew anything anymore.

Oh I love me a good dip! It's been over 12 years since I've bought a can. My wife absolutely hates the stuff and would kill me if i started again. I will admit though every time I walk in a store I see all those cans there and the tastebuds just start craving it
My regular for the most part was either Kodiak or Skoal Longcut Wintergreen. I liked Copenhagen when I wanted something straight forward and strong but back then there was only the original fine cut and I was never a fan of the fine cut tobaccos. Around that time Skoal had introduced the Cherry flavor which was a nice change of pace as well.
I dipped for most of my teen years. I had a lot of friends who were cowboys and didn't take me long to pick up the habit. I also loved chewing as well. Lancaster was by far the best chew I ever found aside from the flavored chews that Fred Stoker's used to sell by mail order. Stoker's Apple was a real treat.
