I realize that I've only been an active member here for a short time but I'm impressed by all the cool tabacciana that MLC is constantly providing and posting all over the various forums here at PT. I would like to nominate him as the "Minister of Tobacciana" and thrust upon him all privileges and benefits of such a grand appointment ;-). Perhaps there could even be a sticky dedicated to all the paraphernalia that he's provided all along thereby creating a reference data base to those of us interested in such history. What say you all?

Ok, Well since I don't know that much about what your talking about, but almost every one of these reply posts are from a "Prefered Member" that agree with you, then I'll vote yes now and read all MLC threads and posts later.

You should definitely check them out. My favourites are the one about old tobacco shops and the one about pipe smoking in comics, among others. A few links below.

I agree with all the above. For me, Troy's wonderful pieces are as important as "pipedia"!!
Maybe they could all be collated as "TROYPAEDIA"!!! LOL

MLC produces some amazing and insightful pieces on tobacco related subjects. I do think he should have his own sticky or thread devoted to this subject so I vote yes!

OK, so we have a bit over a dozen endorsements so far out of about 4,000 members. It'd be cool for the moderators to discuss this and present the idea Herr Administrator.

Hear, hear!
Or: Hyvä idea, kannatan!
(That was Finnish. Oddly enough, MLC reads and writes our difficult moonspeak.)
