My new pipe arrived in the mail today.

For future reference, I should smoke a milder blend in it next time.

The General is great for longer smokes. On my fishing trips I always pack at least one.

Anybody have a freehand from MM? They look huge on the website, how long would one of those smoke?

here's a list of mild to medium tobaccos that should fill up the General without knocking me out...

I have plenty of EMP and Anniversary Kake and a few oz of all the others, except for Skiff.

Plus I have plenty of the PS flake tobaccos and Missouri Meerschaum pouch tobacco in the cellar, too.

So, I'll be able to pipe on the porch for a long time and still have my wits about me to yell "get off my lawn".

I almost forget.

I have plenty of John Cotton No. 1 to burn in this pipe.

Boy, I'll bet that produces a hell of a smoke by the time you get to the bottom of that tall bowl! :puffy:
