Mississippi River Tin or Bulk

The tin seems to be sold out all the time. Does the bulk taste different? How do you buy it?

I've only bought it as bulk, so I can't say one way or the other in regard to taste. Just buy by weight. It typically comes in good sized chunks of cake, break off what you need, rub it out, and you are good to go. The nice thing about it coming in pieces of cake is that it will retain its moisture for quite a long time.
