Tonight I'm gonna stay up, watch the meteor shower and smoke a pipe. Irish flake out of my oom Paul. Anyone else have a similar plan? Look toward the Orion constellation, I think east.

Best time is like 2 hours before sunrise, but you should be able to see it after midnight, maybe even now...

Yep, light pollution pretty much spoils any celestial events for me too. Caught some of the Perseids this summer while at a work retreat near Lake Simcoe. I miss summer already.

Wife and I were just outside, I had a MM Legend in hand. We saw one loooong-tailed one streak overhead.
