Metal pipe day

Today was aluminum, or metal if you prefer, pipe day. The first is an E&G Airflow metal pipe with metal fin bowl cover and briar bowl. The second is by DuPont but I know nothing about it except it was debuted in 1962 and has a removable briar bowl.

A couple of cool metal pipes there banjo. It looks like the end screws off of the E&G pipe, would that be to help with cleaning or perhaps to drain a moisture trap? : puffy

Reminds me of a straight version of a Cavalier. And chromed like one of Detroit's finest, no less. (Not the Chevy Cavalier, obviously. Going waaaaay farther back with the chrome reference!)

I've seen the photos of how it comes apart I might just convert a cob bowl to fit inside the metal housing of the E&G Airflow. I once owned an Aristocob and wasn't really pleased with it but was rather new at pipes back then.
