So I had a couple of firsts last week. My first Flebay pipe purchase and my first new meer. For the nice sum of $25 I got a sweet little cutty, it's about 6" long with the bowl coming in at a tiny 5/8" diameter and 1 1/4" deep. Seems like a nice solid little pipe, the only change I might make is adding a slight curve to the stem. Came in a nice fitted box with a black pipe sox.

You did fine: Nice pipe, nice price. I'm wary of Meers for fear of a whole new world of PAD, but that's a beauty.

It should have the little foot on it to be a true 'cutty' but for $25 you got one hell of a deal on that one. I assume it is solid meerschaum? Any idea who made the pipe as I have not seen a lot of modern meerschaum 'cutty' style pipes around.

None of my "Cuttys" have a foot on the bottom. I've always gone but whether or not it has the tell tale tulip shape bowl and the forward cant. This meer is almost more of a tiny forward canted dublin shape. As for the maker I'm not sure, this is the title of the pipe on ebay "CUTTY SMOOTH block Meerschaum Pipe Ecume de Mer труба 煙斗 Pfeifen smoking pipa"...... Not sure if that tells you anything. Here is a pic of my cutty (or maybe I should call them Belgique?) pipes along with my Eric Paulson Devil Ance as I have always viewed it as a cutty shape too.
