This was in a grab box at the Day Lilly show , kind of like the MM Cob grab bag, came up no name. Today with the Crimson Color of Blood I"m nameing it my Memorial Day Lilly for the blood spilled for this Country. Never Forget.

My mother was bombed by the Nazis in Manchester in WWII, and went through rationing. My uncle was a bomb aimer/navigator on a Wellington bomber. Grandad (Oapa) was a medic at Tobruk.
Thank you for the lily. (Lily has one L Cajun, my friend).
I will never forget.

Thank you Bradley. I'm getting ready to end a 24 hour duty shift, so my Memorial Day won't consist of any bbqs or festivities. Not that it really should anyway. I'm going home to catch a nap and get ready for the rest of the week. The lily is a great representation of what today is about. One bleeds so another may bloom. That is the thought I will lift my pipe to on my way home this morning.
