Morning all. I was gifted a set of Mastercraft meerschaum pipes from a friend. Now I only had one meerschaum before this. So I know how to clean them up but have not done any restore work on one before other then removing the teeth chatter from the stem. One of them has a crack from the end of the shank heading to the bowl about an inch. Trying to find out what would be the recommended care of this pipe. Just clean it and smoke it as is. Put it on the shelf as a decoration. Is there any kind of repair that should be done? Thanks for the help.
