Anyone know where I can get a couple of Meer pipes re-stemmed in Canada? I looked at Walker but he looks to be booked up until late October and I don't want to wait that long.

Jack Reid made me a fishtail replacement for my Peterson Bulldog which had a P-lip that did nothing for me. He did a great job, comfortably thin mouth piece shaped to match the pipe (which I had to send to him). The business was easy to conduct, he simply invoiced me when he sent my pipe back. It ended up costing me ~45 bucks plus the initial cost of shipping the pipe to him. Yours may be cheaper as mine had a diamond shank. It's made it back in to my rotation now so it was well worth it for me. Oh and he also polished up the silver band for me which I had neglected to do for about a year!

What was the turn around like?

Sorry for the slow reply - busy day yesterday.
The turn-around time was really good. Put the pipe in the mail on Jan 29th and got it back Feb 16th. I'd shoot him an email to get a quote and inquire about his workload right now.

Looks pretty good. I'll have to shoot him an email when I'm back from holidays. Thanks for the info!
