I am in search of a blend that comes close to matching McClelland Frog Morton. Any help would be much appreciated.

“After some time he felt for his pipe. It was not broken, and that was something. Then he felt for his pouch, and there was some tobacco in it, and that was something more. Then he felt for matches and he could not find any at all, and that shattered his hopes completely.”

Has anyone tried this blend? Frog morton original is one of my favorites. I would like to have some match of it.

Well, for $30 a half pound, it may be worth it.....But I haven't heard of that company, (which means almost nada.)

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I watched Derek Tant on YouTube and he did a really good job with his research on blends that closely matches Frog Morton. The number one pick was Boswell Northwoods.

Cult Embassy is close. Not a perfect match, but a decent substitute.

To my taste Northwoods lacks the sweet top note of FM. Mix a little Sutliff Vanilla Custard in there and you would be closer to your target.
