Planning my next pipe and thinking half blast and half smooth. I am wondering if you guys can show me your various red stained pipes.

Can a mod repeat or fix the title. Not sure what the heck happened. I am on my phone so one could only guess it screwed up the title. It should say May I see your red pipes?

Only two on rack.
James Upshall S (that grade came only in red).

A recent restoration, using Feiblings Cordovan stain.

Check out the Claret line from Ashton. I think it's the most interesting red line. The majority of red stains seem nearly identical to Al's Cordovan photo.

Here is one of the aforementioned Ashton Claret pipes (Jimmy Craig). Briar/stain was beautiful, stem a bit less so.

I don't think that I've ever encountered a Taylor Claret.

Well up your nose with a rubber hose nate.
I am thinking a bit darker red than this pipe

I don't have a picture handy, but have you looked at the Stanwell Vario line? They are partly smooth and partly rusticated. The smooth parts are red, and the rusticated are black.
They are not terribly expensive pipes. I have the Canadian (or Lumberman) model, and it's a good smoker.
Pipes & Cigars has a good selection in stock. Smokingpipes does not have any at the moment.
They are at least worth looking at.
