I just acquired a Mauro Armellini Verona 704 estate purchase. Can anyone share any information they have on their pipes? It looks gorgeous so I couldn't resist. I paid under $50 for it. Hopefully someone will tell me I got a good deal, It has a slight chip on the outer rim that will hide nicely with a little touch up job. The rustication on it is beautiful.

For some information on Mauro Armellini,

The Verona line was made for sale in the U.S. by The Tingerbox. Nice Acrylic stems, and finishes.

Very cool article. So cool to leave a legacy and it looks like it will continue for another generation.

I own one Verona Oom Paul which I bought in 1979 for $19.95, and have had a few thousand smokes out it. It's always performed above it's price grade. The pebble finish was masterfully done, and the pipes is well balanced for clenching.
