This one surprised me when I removed the stem:

Never seen a military mount like it. Had a look around, and it seems it's one of these:

@ssjones - Those are faux hallmarks. The cap is electroplated nickel.

Al, piffyr's spot on. Faux marks (I usually see those on French pipes), and the EP stamp. It's a super little pipe, and should clean up nicely.
Ray, it's not a tenon, more of a condenser - it is indeed a military mount.
