I'm having a difficult time making my Thunderbird butane insert work.I use Vector fuel, clean the ignition point, and the fuel fill point and still the darn thing won't ignite until I snap the flint wheel a dozen times. What am I doing wrong?

I have the one with a piezoelectric spark. Works fine every time. Flint needs changing? Wheel misaligned?

Take one of the compressed air cans and blow out the nozzle of the lighter a bit. All it takes is to get a minute particle of ash or anything else in it and you have problems. May need to adjust the flame. What I've found most often is the need to bleed off the air. I bleed the chamber every time I refill.
