...well, not really - he ended up paying for it. It was another goof from Alastair Sim's character who was trying to get 28 days in jail so he would be eligible to receive an inheritance from a practical joker relative who had just died.
The movie is Laughter in Paradise from 1951.

Just saw it on TCM the other week and enjoyed it.
Look how decked out in Dunhill goods that counter is, a wonderful display!
Audrey Hepburn makes a fleeting appearance as a cigarette girl too.

Great Post and yes Audrey was Classically beautiful for her whole life, Even in the later years before her Pass she had a glow to her. of course i was only 7 in 1993 but i would have let her babysit me any day.

She is my favorite actress still. So elegant and gracefull. She was of royal descent and carried herself that way always.
