This reminds me of the woman who was getting a reading from her medium, and the medium became more and more delighted telling about all the wonderful things in her client's future, until finally the woman hauled back and slapped her in the face, nearly knocking her off her chair. "Why ever did you do that," the medium said, shocked. "Well," the woman replied, "Mama always told me to strike a happy medium." ...oops, sorry about that
