I love the shape of a Bulldog. Rusticated, smooth, striped, colored, natural whatever. I was wondering if any companies or makers ever considdered making oversized Bulldogs? I would be interested in getting one of those. A nice deep bowl. Is there maybe a pipe that is close to it?

Bull dog-ish, yet out of the ordinary? I like this...

Mark Tinsky. 1.7"H X 1.9"W, I think group 6.

That is a beautiful pipe. I just looked at all he has to offer and he has some nice pipes. Priced a little on the high side but very attanable.

Yeah thats like trying to shoot the wings off a fly at 100 meters. They dont do special orders and its hard to get them on the phone when they post the pipes for sale. I would have better luck seeing if some one that lived close would go in and make a purchase for me...thats an idea

I'm probably the guy referenced who lives near Boswell (about 25 min).
Kaywoodie handmades are really huge. Park Lane sells them. They don't have a bulldog in stock at the moment, just this lovely Rhodesian. This is huge at 86 grams and 6" in length. I was really impressed with the quality at that price point.

I believe an extra large bulldog is called a bull moose, remember seeing it on a shape chart somewhere.

GL Pease calls these "bullmoose" "bullcap" pipes, the Comoys is particularly rare and to me, quite beautiful. They look chubby Rhodesians to me. My GBD Colussus 76 is shaped similarly.

I really like the top two bent pipes in the picture above. Gentle curve on a tapered stem. Nice grain pattern also.

This just listed for $220, unsmoked at the PipeRack, that is one sweet looking Tinsky at a great price.

Not huge in overall size but huge in proportions. This is a nice one!

PipeRack.com seems to have some nice pieces and at good prices, I'll have to add them to the radar screen.
I held a Radice Junebug (GLP version) at Wingenroths last week, like this but had a silver ring. It was really a fantastic looking and well built pipe. It was the owners personal pipe and he loves it.

I have a Tinsky blasted apple that really is a wonderful smoker. It took a while to break in, but once it did, boy does it smoke well. This reminds me to pack it for our trip tomorrow...
