I wonder where the name 'huybrecht' comes from, as it is a typical Flemish name. Is G. Huybrecht the pipe maker or the series?

Where in the world did you snag this grand old pipe? Among other things, it would be the perfect briar for some of the burleys that ship dry and burn a little faster, most certainly the variant Tabac-Manil Semois, although it is probably fine for many genres of blends. I like a tall narrow bowl for Semois, D&R Two Timer, Big'n'Burley and other such leaf.
